Shea Butter

Shea Butter comes from the seeds of the Shea Tree. These trees are most prevelent in west and eastern Africa in a region known as the Shea Belt. The seeds are physically processed and the fat is removed and further purified to give us shea butter.

Why we use Shea Butter in Grandma's products. There are many reasons why we use shea butter in our products. It is a great moisturizer for the skin. It is also packed with lots of vitamins most notably vitamin E which is important for good skin health. If in soaps Shea Butter contributes to a rich creamy lather.
