Sorbitol

Sorbitol is produced from a resposible reaction of glucose and hydrogen. The source of glucose is most commonly corn syrup or other plant sources.

Why do we use Sorbitol in Grandma's Approved products? Sorbitol is a very good humectant which means it helps to draw moisture to our skin and retains that moisture by forming a barrier on our skin. It also helps to keep things well dispersed in out final prducts.
